Homer is one of our area's top agents. Raised in Alabama, he enlisted in the US Marine Corp. immediately following high school. Rachael Tyre, Team Manager
Raised in Salisbury, NC, Rachael graduated from NC State with a BS in Accounting. She then went on to pursue an MBA from East Carolina University. She and Homer are blessed with two young boys, who love "helping sell houses". Rachael oversees marketing, management and Team commitment. She and her husband work together to create a positive Team environment and to build a unique team that ensures a simple and smooth real estate experience.
Sarah Hicks, Listing ManagerSarah Hicks grew up in the Piedmont town of Oxford, NC but relocated to Greenville in 1998 to attend East Carolina University. After graduating with a B.S. in Business Administration she decided to make eastern NC her permanent home. She settled in Winterville with her husband Thomas and has been here ever since. She worked in marketing and administrative positions for several years before earning her real estate license in 2007. Shortly thereafter Sarah began working as a broker as well as administrative staff member with Prudential Prime Properties. She joined the Homer Tyre team in March of 2010 as a Client Care Coordinator, and enjoys assisting our clients with the sale and purchase of their homes. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family at North Carolina’s beautiful coast.
Brooks Bundy, Buyer Specialist
Brooks is originally from Williamston NC. After high school, Brooks attended Barton Collage and Pitt Community College. When Brooks completed college he worked in the construction business for four years when and then decided to get his Real estate License. He started working in the real estate market in 2006 and has been there since. Brooks is married and lives in Greenville with his beautiful wife Suzy and his dog. Brooks joined the Homer Tyre Team in early 2010 and looks forward to helping you find the home of your dreams or the deal of a lifetime.
Mike Bundy, Buyer Specialist
Mike graduated from Williamston High School and attended ECU. After a few years in the Restaurant industry he ventured into a career in sales. He is married to his high school sweetheart Becky, and they have two children and two grand children. Throughout Mike’s career he has been focused on providing excellent customer service and he looks forward to bringing that quality to the Homer Tyre Team. Owning a home is one of life’s most rewarding experiences and Mike is here to help each client achieve that dream.
Jude Watts, Listing Partner
Born and raised in South Central Louisiana, Jude began his career working as a Medic in the Louisiana Prison System and soon transferred to the Federal system as a Senior Officer for United States DOJ. Wanting to work more with the public, he acquired a position working as an Insurance and Financial Services Specialist for State Farm Insurance and worked his way through Real Estate school, soon obtaining his license in 2008. He remained a Real Estate Agent and acted as a local AFLAC representative through 2012. Jude is now a full time Real Estate Agent and hopes to use his diligent work ethic to help our community realize their dreams of owning a home. Jude has a 10 year old daughter named Kami and a 3 year old Yorkie named Jackson.
Meredith Holdford, Closing Coordinator
Meredith is originally from Halifax, NC where she lived with her parents and attended Halifax Academy. Growing up she kept herself busy: playing school sports, working in her father’s hardware store, and then for a local grocery store. After graduation, she spent two years at Halifax Community College before transferring to East Carolina University to complete her BSBA in Marketing and Supply Chain Management. During and after college, she overlapped working jobs such as: Starbucks Barista and lane clerk at an area car auction, as well as server and Local Store Marketer at Logan’s Roadhouse while obtaining her real estate license in 2010. In September of 2012, she joined Tyre Realty Group as our Closing Coordinator. Her education, experience in fast-paced industries, organizational skills, and multitasking abilities play an integral role in facilitating our team’s closing process.
Charlotte Worthington, Administrative Assistant
Charlotte was born and raised in Pitt County. She graduated from Winterville High School and attended ECTC. A mother of two, she worked as an Office Manager with a local heating and air company for thirty years. Upon retiring from this position, she began working with her nephew in real estate, helping out with whatever he needed. Nowadays EVERYONE claims her as their "Aunt Charlotte" and this has evolved into a second career. She joined our team in 2008 and has been a blessing to us in more ways than one. Charlotte brings with her an unsurpassed enthusiasm and love for people. She treats each day as a new adventure and lives it to the fullest.
